Fairwinds Florist is a full service florist located on Main Street in Blue Hill across from the town hall. Fairwinds accepts orders for same-day-delivery until noon and makes daily trips to Blue Hill Brooklin, Brooksville, Castine, Ellsworth, Deer Isle, Penobscot, Sedgwick, Stonington and Surry. And, as a Teleflora & FTD florist, Fairwinds can wire flowers all over the world.

Fairwinds offers a wide selection of floral gifts, including fresh cut flowers and one-of-a-kind arrangements, green and blooming plants, specialty vases, pots and containers, cards, balloons, delicious Maine made chocolate, and life-like silk flowers. In addition to daily work, Fairwinds is available for weddings, parties and other special events. Custom gourmet baskets made to order with our handmade chocolates and gourmet teas, a variety of gifts for the gardener, plant lover or flower enthusiast, baby gifts, fabulous greeting cards, and the softest stuffed animals are just a few special offerings. In addition, all floral supplies are for sale. Owner Cullen Schneider and her staff are always happy to take a moment to answer questions or offer advice for the do-it-yourselfer.

A local delivery fee of $5.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
